About me

Hi, I’m Izabela Witczak

I work as a data analyst, using data in practice to support better decision-making. In my day-to-day work, I primarily use Power BI, Excel, and Power Platform to build and automate economic and operational reports.

My work includes economic and financial reporting, CO2 and sustainability monitoring and HR and recruitment analytics. Across these projects, the focus is on practical data use and clear communication of insights to decision-makers.

Alongside my professional work, I’m the creator of Data Acolyte – a community-driven project built around the real process of learning and working with data. It started while I was learning data analysis myself and looking for a place where people could talk openly about the process, not just the end results.

Data Acolyte is centered around an active Discord community, where people at different stages – from those just starting out to those with early professional experience – come together to ask questions, discuss challenges, and learn from each other.

Through YouTube, I document my own journey into data analysis, sharing progress, mistakes, doubts, and reflections on what working with data actually looks like in practice.

You can find more about my work and projects on LinkedIn, or explore Data Acolyte through the community and content connected to it.

Problem-solving

I enjoy working with messy, real-world data and turning it into something useful.
My focus is on understanding the problem first, then using data to support practical decisions and improve how things work in practice.

Communication

I care about making analysis understandable.
I’m used to explaining data, results, and trade-offs in a clear way – especially to people who don’t work with data every day.
